Guangdong is a major province of intangible cultural heritage in China. Throughout history, the Lingnan culture with distinctive civilian characteristics, international exchanges, and mutual learning has been formed in Guangdong.
Recently, we invited some consulate officials who live and work in Guangzhou to share their experiences and feelings about the traditional Chinese culture and art and the Lingnan intangible cultural heritage.
Hosseinali Darvishi Motli, Consul General of Iran in Guangzhou, said: "In my eyes, any genre of art is precious. But I think Chinese people focus more on stones than gold. Maybe I am wrong in this case. However, I find it very interesting that some stones are much more expensive than gold. I also talked with my colleagues about this phenomenon."
"Chinese culture tends to draw inspiration from nature. It is worth spending plenty of time appreciating the profound and unique Chinese culture of diversity," he added. #artandculture
