The much-anticipated Meizhou-Longchuan High-speed Railway is about to open. Reporters from Yangcheng Evening News were the first to take a ride to experience its speed and convenience. The train took only 25 minutes to travel from Longchuan West Railway Station to Xingning South Railway Station, with the scenery along the way flashing by like scenes from a movie. The main line of the Meizhou-Longchuan High-speed Railway is 93.982 kilometers long, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, passing through cities such as Meizhou and Heyuan. Once the project is completed, the shortest travel time from Meizhou to cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, will be reduced to about 1.5 hours. This is of great significance for accelerating the construction of the Pearl River Delta, eastern Guangdong region, and the high-speed railway corridors to Meizhou and Heyuan, promoting the interconnectivity of transportation in Guangdong, and driving regional economic development.





备受关注的梅龙高铁开通在即，羊城晚报记者抢“鲜”试乘梅龙高铁试运行列车，体验高铁“速度与激情”。高铁仅用二十五分钟便从龙川西站抵达兴宁南站，沿途风景如电影画面般一幕幕掠过。据悉，梅龙高铁正线全长93.982千米，设计行车速度350公里/小时，途经梅州市、河源等城市。梅龙高铁项目建成后，梅州到广州、深圳等粤港澳大湾区城市最短通行时间将缩至1.5小时左右，对加快构建珠三角、粤东地区与梅州、河源高速铁路通道，加速广东省交通互联互通，推动地区经济发展具有重要意义。
