On the evening of December 20 (Paris time), the #MaritimeGuangdongShowcase premiered at Forum des Images, a cultural landmark in Paris. It presented French audiences with the classic film Mountains May Depart by renowned directorJia Zhangke, which was shortlisted for the main competition at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. After nine years, the melody of Go West resonated once again in France. Following the screening, journalists based in France, veteran film critics,young directors living in France, producers, and young directors from the 2024 Maritime Guangdong Young Director Support Program came together to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by the new generation of Chinese-language filmmakers.
法国时间12月20日晚，山海展映季·巴黎登陆巴黎文化地标——巴黎影像论坛Forum des Images，为法国观众带来著名导演贾樟柯入围第68届戛纳主竞赛单元的经典作品《山河故人》。时隔九年，《Go West》的旋律再次于法国响起。映后，旅法记者、资深影评人、旅法青年导演、制片人和山海计划青年导演一齐探讨新生代华语创作者的机遇与困惑。
