City Life | On April 22, the closure segment of the continuous rigid-frame on the Xijiang River section of the Foshan Grand Bridge along the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway was successfully completed, marking a significant milestone toward the full connectivity of the line. This section is set to become the world’s largest-span ballastless track steel-concrete continuous rigid frame bridge designed for 350 km/h. Upon operation, the railway will reduce travel time between Guangzhou and Zhanjiang to just 90 minutes, accelerating the integration of western Guangdong into GBA’s development.

4月22日，广湛高铁佛山特大桥跨西江段钢混连续刚构成功合龙，为广湛高铁的全线贯通奠定了坚实基础。本次合龙的是跨西江段钢混混合连续刚构，建成后将成为世界最大跨度时速350km无砟轨道钢混混合连续刚构桥，建设意义非凡。广湛高铁通车后，将使广州至湛江通行时间缩短至90分钟，助力粤西地区融入粤港澳大湾区发展。
