From May 15th to 17th, the "Discover JiangXi" Lushan Tour was held in Mount Lu, Jiangxi Province. More than 10 foreign internet celebrities from Russia, Mexico, Morocco, Australia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Madagascar embarked on a three-day exploration of there.
During the three days, the foreign internet celebrities visited many places, including the HanPokou to watch the surging sea of clouds, the White Deer Cave Academy to explore the academy culture, and the Square Cat Art Village to see the achievements of rural revitalization. The "foreign internet celebrities" were able to enjoy the magnificent views of the "majestic, strange, perilous and beautiful" landscape of Mount Lu, a World Geopark, which is famous for its numerous peaks, strange rocks, valleys, waterfalls, springs and caves. The mountain is often shrouded in clouds and mist, presenting a breathtaking scene. When they climbed up Mount Lu, they experienced the saying "I cannot see the true face of Mount Lu, for I am within it." In the misty and beautiful Jiu Xiang Valley, the distant scenery was obscured, but the nearby rocks, trees and plants were clearly visible. This was their first impression of Mount Lu. However, just a few hours later, when they arrived at the HanPokou, Mount Lu presented a different scene. The sunlight shone on the mountains, and the surging sea of clouds among the green mountains, as well as the faintly visible Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China in the distance, all amazed the group. Many of the "foreign internet celebrities" used their cameras and mobile phones to record this magnificent scenery. "It's really amazing to see the different beautiful scenes of Mount Lu in different weather conditions. I finally understand what the ancient Chinese poet Su Shi meant by 'From the side it looks like a peak, from the front it looks like a ridge; from afar or near, high or low, it looks different.' " Qiao Anan, a social media influencer from Madagascar who is very fond of Chinese traditional culture, told the reporter that she had taken many photos and videos of Mount Lu to post on her social media accounts. The group also visited the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on Mount Lu and the Xiufeng Waterfall, gaining a more intuitive understanding of the natural ecology and magnificent waterfalls of Mount Lu.
Step into ancient academies and modern villa complexes to savor profound cultural and historical heritage
Mount Lu is hailed as the "Holy Mountain of Culture". In December 1996, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed Lushan on the World Heritage List as a "World Cultural Heritage".
Sitting at the desks of the over 1,000-year-old Lushan White Deer Cave Academy, listening to the tour guide introduce the huge "Revelation of White Deer Cave Academy" (i.e., the "Academic Regulations of White Deer Cave Academy") on the wall, these "foreign internet celebrities" from different countries seemed to have traveled back to the era when Zhu Xi taught here, becoming "foreign students" learning Chinese traditional culture.

Among them, Lushan Flower Language World showcases a miracle of ecological restoration - a former quarry that has been transformed into a 700-plus-mu (approximately 115 acres)flower art and cultural tourism complex after seven years of ecological governance. The newly built Lushan Meteor Park, on the other hand, sketches out the future vision of an agricultural tourism complex.
The most astonishing project for the international friends was the Cube Cat Art Village. This village, designed based on the geometric aesthetics of Dutch painter Mondrian, uses the primary colors of red, yellow, and blue to create a fairy-tale world. Mexican internet celebrity Lu Xin exclaimed, "The collision of tradition and avant-garde here sparks a wonderful spark. Every wall is telling the story of the yearning for a better life."
