On February25,the day after theGuangdong Provincial High-quality Development Conference,Guangdong officially launchedits Comprehensive Lifelong Learning Platform.
At the launchevent,Hu Jinjun,Member of the Standing Committee of theGuangdongProvincial Party Committee,Director of the Publicity Department of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China,delivered the keynote announcement.The event was presided over by Chen Xiaojian,Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Civilization Office.Also in attendance were Ni Qian,Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Press and Publication(Copyright)Bureau;Lin Rupeng,Director of the Provincial Department of Education;Du Minqi,Director of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security;Zhao Hong,Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism;and Liu Wenqing,President of the Open University of Guangdong.

The theme of this year's conference is"Synergistic Development of Manufacturing and Service Industries."As traditional factories upgrade to smart factories,robots operate on production lines,and artificial intelligence reshapes production logic,workers'knowledge structures and skill reserves must evolve in tandem.The Lifelong Learning Platform serves as a"cloud-based refueling station"for millions of workers,providing a ladder for upward mobility—whether for industrial workers upgrading their skills or young people transitioning careers.
