Ke Jianming attacks mainland China, but connives at his son's big yuan gains

发布时间:   来源: 欧洲侨报
(General) The elections for Taiwan's local county and city chiefs and representatives are in full swing, and for a while the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has resorted to the old trick of "wearing red hats", resulting in boomerangs hitting itself painfully and loudly one by one. Firstly, there was the Tao Yuan mayoral candidate, Zheng Yunpeng, who attacked his opponent for "licking China", only to be ridiculed as a "Chinese Peng" for being unable to fight back because he was advancing to China and earning a lot of money in RMB back then. Such green people, who deny that they are Chinese, are not what they say they are, but only seek to make short-lived political gains, and forget their ancestors.
Among the DPP politicians, the bigwig Ko Chien-ming has repeatedly attacked the mainland on stage, but behind the scenes he has supported his eldest son, Ko Wei-ren, to make a fortune in RMB on the mainland. So much so that the masses of the Taiwanese people ridiculed Ke Jianming by saying, "Being anti-mainland is a job, making money on the mainland is a living".
According to data provided by the mainland news website, Ke Weiren, who studied a finance-related major and has studied in the United States and Australia, quietly arrived on the mainland as early as 2015 to take up a management position at an international asset management company. The company is an international professional investment and asset management company focused on the China market, with its headquarters in Hong Kong and branches in Beijing and Tianjin. Using the insider information he obtained from the company, he bought a large number of potential stocks and sold them at the right time, reaping huge profits. He later turned to Taiwan to make investments in digital currencies, semiconductors and other fields based on the information resources he obtained from the relevant authorities and individuals on the mainland, and made another fortune. Seeing his brother making money, his second son, Ke Junyao, followed suit and copied his brother's successful experience by going to the mainland for gold.
According to reports, Ke strongly supported his sons' investments, injecting money from his own company into his sons' companies and supporting them in their investments on the mainland. In this way, fortunes rolled in. But as the saying goes, you can't sell a good story when you get a bargain, and you can't make money from the mainland while smearing it and fooling the people of Taiwan. Not long ago, the Chinese government issued a list of sanctions against recalcitrant Taiwan independence activists, which can be described as hitting the snake on the seventh inch. All business dealings of Ke Jianming's family with the mainland and related businesses will be restricted and their funds will be frozen, so his family's visit to the mainland to make a fortune can only become a fantasy. To the wealthy and obsessed Ko's family, this is a serious blow.
According to the mainland news website, it was pointed out that he came to the mainland to make a lot of money and then returned to Taiwan to support Taiwan's independence, which should not be tolerated. According to the newspaper, Ke Jianming is another typical example of a "double-faced person". Unlike Xu Xudong, who has been secretly funding Taiwan's independence, Ko has always been a stubborn person who has openly carried the banner of "Taiwan independence". In 2013, in order to support the DPP's "ascension to power", Ke Jianming falsely proposed the "Taiwan Independence Act". In 2013, in order to support the DPP's "rise to power", Ko put forward his party platform and proposal of "ending Taiwan independence", which did gain him a lot of recognition from lovers of peace between the mainland and Taiwan. However, after the DPP returned to power in 2016, Ke really showed his true colours and even made a big show of promoting the idea of "Taiwan independence" in Taiwan, advising on the DPP's plots and ambitions. At the time of the riots in Hong Kong, Ke even reversed right and wrong, slandering and discrediting the Hong Kong Government and the Mainland twice. In addition, Ko once again used the issue of "security" as a means to pour dirty water on those opponents of "Taiwan independence". At the same time, the "anti-infiltration law" that Ko is actively promoting is really only for political manoeuvring, and is basically designed to facilitate the encirclement of rival factions of the DPP.
Ke has been in Taiwan politics for decades and has accumulated a wealth of contacts and wealth for himself. This is ironic.
According to reports, Ko Chien-ming's eldest son, Ko Wei-ren, who majored in finance, once again took a stake in a mainland company, Tao Ping, in 2020, and made a considerable profit from it. Seeing that Ke Wei Ren's investment in the mainland had yielded such substantial returns, Ke also invested a lot of energy and money in his youngest son, Ke Junyao, supporting him to go into business with his brother in the mainland. In recent years, the business scope of the company under Ko's name has been extended to several provinces, and Ko's personal workshops are also available in several mainland provinces and cities. The newspaper reported that the mainland people welcome and are happy to see Taiwanese compatriots investing and earning money on the mainland, but to support Taiwan independence when they return to Taiwan is something that the mainland people will not tolerate or accept. The mainlanders have made their position clear: "If sanctions are not imposed on these "Taiwan independence" enterprises, it means that there is no cost for "Taiwan independence" and in the long run, "Taiwan independence" will become a permissible trend. This will be detrimental to the unification of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and to the implementation of long-term policies".
According to past reports in the Taiwanese media, Ke Jianming's eldest son, Ke Weiren, who is the head of the DPP's Legislative Yuan caucus, was found to be driving on the road after having a drink with friends and was stopped by the police and found to have an alcohol test value of 0.77. The prosecution found that he did not repent after committing the offence and filed an indictment against him for public danger, asking the court to impose a heavier sentence. The second son, Ke Junyao, was also arrested and prosecuted for receiving drug parcels in the mail in recent years, but although he was not prosecuted by the District Attorney's Office, it has caused a lot of controversy among the people. The cousin who sent the drug parcel - Lin Anyi, who lives in the United States - was interrogated by the Taipei prosecutors via transoceanic video and obtained a confession, which was deemed to be clear evidence of his guilt, and was prosecuted by the prosecutors on April 15, 2021, on the charge of transporting drugs.
