The topography of Chaoyang resembles a ship docked at the edge of the South China Sea, with the Wenguang Tower standing majestically in the city's center like a mast, symbolizing the ship's ability to sail far and wide. For over 890 years, Wenguang Tower has been a cornerstone of Chaoyang's history and culture, serving as a spiritual link for Chaoyang people domestically and internationally. Centered around the tower, visitors can meander along main thoroughfares to explore the city's "Four Wonders": ancient trees, towers, temples, and gardens. Additionally, within a ten-minute walk, visitors can reach a "cultural hub" that includes the Chaoyang Museum, Cultural Center, and Library.
